Stepping onto the Shankill Road can sometimes be like taking a walk down memory lane and our bar is no exception… We have always found ourselves in the sweep of history and tradition, yet the bar seems unchanged. It certainly is a unique landmark on the road harking back to a bygone Victorian era.
Quenching your thirst can be a feast for your eyes
We are glad to say that a sense of tradition is very much alive and well in our classic Victorian bar. We are a natural draw for tourists patrolling the peace line and the remaining murals, which surround the nearby streets… so do visit we have a lot to offer.

The little known photographic gallery inside the bar uniquely captures the passage of time on ‘the road’ and importantly the Shankill’s place in Belfast’s History. Our bar has a unique collection of black and white photographs ranging from the reign of Queen Victoria, the heyday of the ‘shipyard’ and the happy smiles of post war Shankill.
It’s really worth a look so just stroll in … you’ll be more than welcome.
