"The Nick" takes its name from the area of streets which once surrounded the café …but its more than old fashioned cooking you'll get when you drop in.

@ the Nick we never like to boast and we feel obliged to pass on to tourists only unbiased and factual information … so here it is, we are the best restaurant on the road and you would have to be crazy to miss out on this good value cooking.

What's in our Oven
Try our delicious pies, our great value hot meals, or the house speciality "a big bowl of champ"… all of course washed down with a streaming mug of tea.
Our staff are friendly and funny, and well used to tourists on the road.

Top Tips
Get here early on Thursday, Friday or Saturday to avoid the crowd as lunch times can be a bit mad.
